Anime: The girl who leapt through time

I was attracted by the name of this anime – travelling through time is always very intriguing. The anime starts with the life of a girl, Makoto Konno, who always gets into trouble in one way or another. But her life is about to change in the physics lab as she touches an unknown device. Apparently she gains the ability to travel back in time. At first she uses her gift for very frivolous things like getting better grades, not being late in school, etc. However her leaps in time affect the people around her and she discovers a bit too late that she has a limited number of travels.

Not only that she changes her friends and colleagues lifes but also she changes as a person. She has to handle the emotions that grow in time for her best friends. But in the end is somehow too late as her true love, Chiaki, is not from her world but from the future. And he returns back to the future leaving her empty … but at least waiting for her in the future.

Will she discover the way to him?
