I’m taking sips from Murakami’s work. And this time I chose Sputnik Sweetheart. Another intriguing book. He manages again to make me reflect about life, dreams and love. And most importantly to question reality.

This is a beautiful yet sad story about the bond between a cat and his owners. But also about love, loneliness, betrayal and manipulation. Tanizaki was able to express subtle emotions but at the same time with a pungent message.
