Anime: MAHOUTSUKAI NO YOME

A brilliant anime that was created during the last two years. First season MAHOUTSUKAI NO YOME: HOSHI MATSU HITO with only a few episodes appeared already in 2016. Second season in 2017 and 2018 … And as with all animes this is best when listened in Japanese. Music and lyrics are great.

Hitori Chise is an orphaned 16-year old girl that lost her purpose in life. With no family nor friends she embraces the last hope left. She puts herself for sale on the black market. And a light appears when no one waits. A mysterious magus buys her and makes her his bride. This is the beginning of a new life, with not only new experiences but also adventures and many new friends. A new bond starts to grow between Chise and Alias. From stranger, to father, to daughter and mother and bride or groom, their roles change with time.

I don’t care if he thinks of me as a toy, and throws me out when he’s bored. It’s because he … even though it was only one time, said to me that am I his family.

And their trust in each other as well. But they have to fight the obstacles in their hearts and destroy all chains and free themselves from the past.

Words aren’t for understanding each other. They exist for the sake of talking to each other.

Not only the story is impressive, but also all the magic and all the creatures involved from fairies to dragons. The animation is very high quality with beautiful colours and music.
