Restaurant: Vik Pensjonat & Hytter Cafe

Location: Eidfjord, Norway

After a two-day hike to the glacier nearby we looked for a good meal at another restaurant in Eidfjord. This time we chose the Cafe near the fjord … It has a very nice terrace outside. We enjoyed for a few minutes the afternoon sun, but soon we had to move inside as it was quite chilly.

Inside the restaurant is quite nice. We ordered at the counter and paid in advance. Then we could enjoy the local apple juice and a cup of coffee. The meal was also very good, especially after the long hike.

I especially like the small salads and the chutneys. We both enjoyed very tasty food and replenished our energy. And we were ready again to leave the beautiful Eidfjord  and start looking for a new adventure in another place… But for sure one day we’ll be back and enjoy some more of this beautiful area.
