Restaurant: Cuschina Menono

If you want to try fine dining in Sedrun this is the place to go. We were searching for a restaurant after skiing in Google Maps. And we saw that this one had good ratings; we called and reserved a table for two.

We went dressed in our winter outfits, nothing special at all. We were actually not expecting anything like fine dining.

Arrived there the two cooks invited us in the cellar and asked us to choose a bottle of wine. Indeed the cellar was quite nice.

So we started with some white wine and even got some appetizers on the side. After 10 minutes more guests arrived elegantly dressed. They seemed to all know each other and spoke the local Romantsch dialect.

Afterwards we went back upstairs and we got a nice table near the fireplace. They only have a few tables for around 15 people.

And also only one menu, you can’t choose. The menu consists of around 5 courses, everything small portion and cooked fresh by the two cooks.

They seem to be a couple and are very nice people. We had a table near the fireplace. The atmosphere was very nice.

The food was interesting and refined. I loved the homemade bread and the butter. The soup was very tasty and looked very well. The schnitzel amuse-bouche was delicious.

After the first bottle of white wine we ordered a red Spanish one. That went very well with our main course. The main course had beef two ways. We loved it! And the dessert was exquisite as well.
